The previous owners on this property were horse enthusiasts. The barn had a couple of horse stalls, but was otherwise a well-built two-story space. We were never going to have horses, so we closed off the stalls, insulated and drywalled the inside, painted, et voila! there was a welcoming creative space.
The loom and cars are similar because they stretch our visions and push our brains to work our challenges.
Lucero had been viewing floor looms online when a neighbor told her that a friend was trying to sell a floor loom. Quel coincidence! We checked it out, loaded it in the El Camino, and still don't quite know how we got it up the stairs. What a perfect fit!
