December 21, 2020 we moved from San Leandro, CA - in the heart of the SF East Bay - to Millville, Shasta County, CA. Yes during the heart of COVID and the citizen response to the pandemic could hardly have been more different. However universal creativity is unifying. Here we are at the Sundial Bridge in Redding. Created by Santiago Calatrava, it transcends politics.

Could we have known what it would mean to move from a major metropolitan area to a rural unincorporated town in Northern California? Probably not. For us we've kept our footing by stepping carefully forward, and giving ourselves a wide base to always come back to. We have found some like-minded people and have learned to coexist with those whose mindedness is far from simpatico to ours. We have also found comfort in the spaces that we continue to create and build up around our daily lives.
