A full life is better than an empty life!

We say we retired from working five days a week to working seven days a week. Although the weather, water flow, weeds, gardening, et al dictate our chores, we are generally on our own time.

We hadn't a clue what kind of responsibility 8 acres would require. We have learned that a tractor is a back-saver, that county building permits require updating other aspects of a building, greenhouses need lots of maintenance and the growing is just different, not necessarily better, than the open-air raised beds.
